Speaking at the 'Arise Festival of Labour's left ideas' in London, Scottish Labour leader Richard Leonard said:
"We need to take on the English nationalism of Boris Johnson.
"Because we are witnessing the abandonment of Conservatism and unionism and the rise of a new and dangerous nationalism.
"So our message must be clearer than ever before, and we must fight harder than ever before - because the real division in society is not the division between Scotland and England.
"It is not between the people of these shared islands and the working people of Europe.
"The real division is between those who own the wealth and those who through their hard work and endeavour create the wealth.
"That’s the real division."
